Unfortunately Margaret cannot afford Princess's treatment, but she is fully committed to treating her beloved dog. "We want to do everything we can for Princess because she's part of the family."
Nine-year-old Princess's problems began with an itch. But once she got scratching, she just couldn't stop. When Princess started clawing at her ears and moaning, her owner, Margaret, knew something was wrong.

This poorly pooch was diagnosed with chronic Atopy, brought on by an allergy to pollens. Keeping Princess healthy takes a great deal of commitment and some royal treatment from Margaret. She has to give Princess daily tablets and weekly showers using prescription cleansers.

With medication prescribed by PDSA, Princess is now a happy dog. "She'd play all day if she could," says Margaret. But, Princess will need medication for the rest of her life. Without it, she would be in terrible pain.
